NFL Sunday Ticket

NFL Sunday Ticket is DIRECTV's exclusive product with the NFL, and DMG's biggest project. I was selected as the lead writer, and was dedicated to the project for four months. I pushed hard for 2015's copy and UX/UI to take creative risks and, with a very talented team, cultivated the ultimate fan experience from a previously drab acquisition flow.  

We used exciting, sports-focused UI, simple but forward-thinking UX solutions, and snappy copy that starts the football experience from the second you enter. With a student and non-student flow, we cast the net wider to bring more people the best thing about fall: football.

Tutorial for DIRECTV's Mobile Overhaul

Tutorials are key for educating users on new features, but when done wrong they can feel like an annoyance in the way of getting to the product. My key? Shake it up. Grab them from the first screen, and push users through using catchy, concise language. Don't be fancy - be functional. 

DIRECTV unveiled a new and improved mobile experience in the spring of 2015, and we pushed this tutorial for users to get the 411.

NFL Smack Talk Generator

What to bros love doing? Talking smack. What do bros love even more than talking smack? Poo-pooing their teammates' fantasy league on social media. So—with the help of DIRECTV football spokesmen Eli and Peyton Manning, the product writing team made it easy to burn your friends, while promoting NFL Sunday Ticket at the same time. Pretty sweet.
